Overview
What Does This Module Do?
Exit Management structures every stage of a staff separation within the HRMS. From the moment a resignation is submitted to the completion of Full & Final settlement. The module tracks department clearances, NOC issuance, asset returns, and exit interview recordings in a single workflow. When the exit is complete, HR has a clean record & exit analytics that reveal the patterns behind why staff leave.
Benefits
How Does it Help Institutions?
Nothing Gets Missed on Either Side
Every department with a clearance obligation; IT, Finance, Library, Admin, HR, is assigned their action on the checklist the moment an exit is initiated. The exit only closes when every item is marked complete.
NOC & Asset Recovery, Formally Tracked
No Objection Certificates and asset returns are logged as discrete steps in the exit workflow. HR knows the status of every pending NOC and outstanding asset across all active exits at any time.
F&F Settlement Without Manual Assembly
Full & Final settlement is processed within the exit workflow, drawing on payroll, leave, and attendance data already in the HRMS. HR doesn't manually gather inputs from multiple systems to compute final settlement amount.
Exit Intelligence, Not Just Process Compliance
Exit interview responses are recorded & structured within the system. Exit analytics surface the most common reasons for attrition by dept, tenure band & role; giving leadership actionable data, not just a record of who left.
Features
Key Capabilities
Everything you need to manage the complete staff exit lifecycle
Resignation Initiation & Approval Workflow
Staff resign digitally. It's routed to the reporting manager & HR for acknowledgement & acceptance. Notice period is auto-calculated & logged from the date of submission.
NOC Tracking
No Objection Certificates from relevant depts are tracked as individual items. Each NOC has an assigned owner, due date & clear pending/completed status visible to HR.
Department Clearance Checklist
Clearance tasks assigned to each relevant dept on exit initiation. Dept heads mark their items complete within the HRMS. HR sees the consolidated status in real time.
Asset Return Tracking
Devices, access cards, etc are assigned to the departing staff member; listed & tracked for return. This step must be marked complete before closing the exit.
Full & Final Settlement Processing
F&F settlement is computed using verified payroll, leave encashment & deduction data from the HRMS. HR reviews, adjusts, finalises & generates a settlement letter.
Exit Interview Recording
Structured exit interview responses are recorded digitally, either by the departing staff or recorded by HR. Responses are retained confidentially for analysis.
Exit Analytics (Reason Analysis)
Exit interview data surfaces as exit analytics, showing frequently cited reasons for leaving, segmented by dept, role & tenure. HR & leadership get a pattern view.
