- Full OBE hierarchy: PEO, PO, PSO & CO, defined & managed within College ERP
- CO-PO & CO-PSO mapping matrices; built, maintained & available for NBA & NAAC documentation
- Curriculum design with subject mgmt, modules, topics & teaching configuration
- Academic coverage & delivery reports: lesson plan status, CO coverage & hrs delivered, work diary, and subject coverage reports for NAAC & internal QA

Overview
What Does OBE Framework Do?
OBE Framework gives colleges a complete system to define, manage, and maintain the full outcomes hierarchy. From Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) down to individual Course Outcomes (COs). Every course outcome is mapped to programme outcomes through CO-PO and CO-PSO matrices, ensuring the curriculum is designed to achieve defined competencies. Rather than maintaining OBE documentation in scattered spreadsheets and documents, the module provides a single, structured system where outcomes are defined once and mapping matrices automatically reflect any changes. Curriculum design is connected to the outcomes hierarchy, and the system produces the structured documentation that NBA and NAAC assessors require.
Framework
The Four-Level Outcomes Hierarchy
Every feature in the OBE Framework module maps to one of these four levels. Understanding the hierarchy makes it clear why each level needs separate management.
Program Educational Objectives
Defined At: Institution / Department level
Captures: Broad statements of what graduates are expected to achieve in the years following graduation.
Program Outcomes
Defined At: Programme level
Captures: Knowledge, skills, and attitudes graduates should demonstrate on completion of the programme.
Program Specific Outcomes
Defined At: Specialisation / Discipline level
Captures: Discipline-specific competencies that complement the broad programme outcomes for a given specialisation.
Course Outcomes
Defined At: Course / Subject level
Captures: What a student should be able to do upon completing each individual course or subject.
Benefits
How Does it Help Colleges?
Outcomes Hierarchy Defined Once
Single, structured system. PEOs, POs, PSOs & COs defined once, maintained centrally. On updation, mapping matrices reflect the change immediately.
CO-PO Mapping Ready
CO-PO mapping matrix maintained within the system, always current & consistent with course and programme definitions.
Outcomes-Connected Curriculum Design
Curriculum & subject management connected to the outcomes hierarchy. Teaching config links delivery methods to learning outcomes.
CO Bulk Upload for Large Course Catalogs
CO bulk upload accelerates initial setup for institutions with large numbers of courses, making first-time implementation and annual review cycles manageable.
Built-In NAAC & NBA Documentation
PEOs, POs, PSOs, COs & mapping matrices maintained as part of normal operations. Accreditation documentation exists continuously.
CO Coverage & Delivery Reporting
Lesson plan status, CO coverage, CO hours delivered, work diary & subject coverage; provide evidence as a by-product of normal academic operations.
Scalable for Any Institution
Designed to scale from single programmes to multi-faculty institutions with dozens of programmes and hundreds of courses without system overhead.
Features
Key Capabilities
A detailed view of every capability in the OBE Framework module.
OBE Hierarchy Management
PEO Management
Programme Educational Objectives defined at programme/dept level; broad statements of graduate achievement, provide strategic direction for POs & PSOs.
PO Management
Programme Outcomes define knowledge, skills, and attributes graduates should demonstrate. POs serve as reference for CO-PO mapping across every course.
PSO Management
Programme Specific Outcomes capture discipline-specific competencies complementing POs for each specialisation. Managed separately & mapped through CO-PSO matrix.
CO Management with Bulk Upload
Course Outcomes defined for every course. Bulk upload handles large course catalogs efficiently, ensuring consistent CO definitions across all courses.
Mapping & Curriculum
CO-PO Mapping Matrix
Documents strength of relationship between course outcomes & programme outcomes on 1-3 scale. Always reflecting current state of COs and POs.
CO-PSO Mapping Matrix
Documents relationship between course & programme specific outcomes. Demonstrates how specialisation-specific courses contribute to the latter's requirements.
Curriculum Design & Management
Programme curriculum structured to achieve defined outcomes. Connects course sequence & content to outcomes hierarchy.
Subject Management
Each subject managed with constituent modules & topics. Subject-level management connects syllabus content to course outcomes & maintains for accreditation review.
Teaching Configuration
Links delivery methods (lectures, tutorials, practicals, seminars, projects) to the outcomes they address, supporting attainment analysis & methodology doc.
Workflow
Built for Real Academic Administration Workflows
The complete OBE framework setup and maintenance cycle
Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) defined at programme or department level
Programme Outcomes (POs) defined, aligned to PEOs & to applicable accreditation framework's outcome categories
Programme Specific Outcomes (PSOs) defined for each specialisation or discipline stream
Course Outcomes (COs) defined for every course, individually or via bulk upload for large course catalogs
CO-PO mapping matrix built, each CO mapped to relevant POs with contribution level (1/2/3)
CO-PSO mapping matrix built, each CO mapped to relevant PSOs where applicable
Curriculum designed, courses sequenced with modules & topics connected to their COs
Teaching configuration applied, delivery methods linked to outcomes they address
Outcomes & mapping matrices reviewed & updated at each academic year or semester
NBA & NAAC documentation produced from the module for accreditation review
